Roberts seems to run the SCOTUS with a bit of an Iron Fist, he demands tradition and respect be upheld and that things run EXACTLY how the whole thing was set up,a d he absolutely HATES the inferior courts basically braking the rules and trying to side step the SCOTUS rulings!
Would LOVE to see Thomas do an EPIC rant on the 9th and their buggery, THAT would be awesome to see, and Given that he wrote the Bruen decision, there would be no one better to do it then he!
Actually, Roberts COULD do something here, have some one else like Kav, or ACB, or Gorsuch do the smack down, settling them as staunch 2nd supporters and clearing the air about where they stand, and THAT would put a serious dent in the Democraps plans to remove Thomas/Alito!

You all really think the Supreme Court could write an air tight ruling on ending mag or semi auto restrictions that these states won't weasel around? Monthly purchase limits, off site storage requirements, can't be loaded, transported, background checks, must be traceable. They are just warming up! Everyone seems to think all we need is one of these cases going before the high court and all this nonsense will end. As Aerosmith once said…."Dream On". The state has time, money, the courts and history on their side. Even with the few big wins for the 2A in the last decade, I say not much has changed. Yes more concealed carry permits, but zero movement on the 2 major infringements. Stay tuned…Universal backgrounds checks are the next low hanging fruit.

Add to this that the executive branch at all levels, and a number of inferior courts, are simply thumbing their collective noses at SCOTUS. They don't care what the law says, they're going to do whatever they want to do because SCOTUS has zero enforcement powers. Even if Congress were to act in our favor, the executive branch doesn't care. "I see a bad moon rising..."

They don't need no stinkin legal system to remove your rights, they just take them at will.
