...what makes you think only online sales will be impacted. It will most likely come at the point of sale via your bank.

Purchases that the bank does not approve of will most likely be denied. Just go to your bank and try to withdraw over $3K in cash and wait for them to demand to be told what you WISH to do with YOUR money and if they will LET you have it...

Luckily, its all done via the app. Now if I want to withdraw more than $25k.... Then I gotta call USAA.

I ordered a new gun online yesterday after checking locally. My LGS said they can't get any Kimbers. I always give them the first shot at a sale. Like others, I used to do a lot of gun trading and I miss it.

Because those in power are threatened by an armed populace.

In their minds, gun control is NOT about public safety, it is about their safety and protecting their power.

The powerful entities that want gun control are not ignorant or stupid when it comes to politics. They may not know gun technology or existing laws, but they do not need to - they can hire people to help them enact the most effective gun control laws. They know that as long as there is an armed populace where there are at least 120 guns for every 100 people in the USA, they have a threat to their goal of being tyrants and having the general public do their will, and having the majority do it willingly.

Remember, that while there are more guns than people in the USA, gun owners are a minority, an ever shrinking minority with less political power every day. A minority that is intentionally ridiculed, portrayed as a threat and mentally ill by the majority and people in power.

As long as I could still order said items through an FFL without much extra cost, probably not much.

It will still suck, but as long as I can still get everything, not that's bad.

If FFLs take advantage of it and screw over people with stupid fees, it will really suck.

This happens, combined with Sportsmans selling out and the small brick and mortar already (usually) more expensive, this hobby is going to get more expensive quickly.

Point being, any one know of a local shop that has in the shelf, a Q Cherry bomb for 9mm? If they did would it still be roughly $60?

What revive? I still get Shotgun News, but now they call it Firearms News

Maybe reinvigorate would've been a better word. In a way that reflects lots of individual ads as it once did. Pre-internet. But this is only one possibility of what could be many. That go back to old ways which circumvent the intent of banning online sales. After all, that's how it used to be done.

There is nothing in Joes plan that states that your local gun store would be able to continue to order via the net either, and that means back to catalogs, snailmail or telephone orders, just like in the early 90's.

I suggest that you all, Use your rounds wisely.

Less than 2% of the population, and I would bet that many of them are not pro-2A.

In 1978 the estimate of gun owners was 51% of the populace. Today it is less than half that (last survey I saw said 22%). In the last ten years the US population increased by 20 million.

22%?
That's still over 60 million gun owners
That means over 60 million voting age gun owners. Something even a fool like Biden has to take into consideration.

I have only bought rifles shotguns for the past 10/12 years online, better price no tax, and have bought all my ammo only on line from bulk suppliers or from individuals way cheaper faster..I have seen this coming for a long time, thats why im loaded up to the max on all my shooting rounds (except 6 .5 Grendel), they will next go after reloaders as as well all black powder shooters, why you ask, cuz bowel movements matter...it is their way of control us and to stay in power forever.

Keep in mind that the people writing these laws to be as burdensome and infringing as possible read these forums. Any "they'll never remember to ban X alternative" comments will likely result in a specific X ban in the legislation. I've seen it happen.

This ain't no joke! In 2020 I tried to deposit $30K in cash to my bank. I had sold a lot of stuff on CL like my dirtbikes and quads and I wanted to payoff the loan on my car with it.

I got the 3rd degree from my own bank! First, when I deposited that money, they questioned me where did I get it. I guess the Feds want to know? Then, a few weeks later when I tried to use online transfer to clear my vehicle loan, they wanted me to go in person to do it. During pandemic. Had to make a special appointment to pay off my own car in person.

In the past, I have never had these experiences and yes I have moved lots of money before and had easier experiences in paying off my vehicles.

I'm sure it's the Feds trying to swing nuts. I don't think it's right they act like that, for a moment I kind of felt like a meth dealer or pimp the way they were asking me where I got my money.

I didn't say gun owners are not a force to be reckoned with, I said we are a shrinking minority. In 40+ years we have shrunk by over half and gun control advocates are getting bolder and smarter, while some gun owners won't even admit to owning guns in certain environments (like the workplace).

How will it affect me?
It is just one more step in the death of 1000 cuts on Americas recognized God given liberties and freedoms.
I really want to spell out how the liberals and socialists will lose in armed combat, hands down, years late with no training or bullets, against most anyone who is not the same as them, with no help from their oberfuhrer Kate.

But what is the point, with lines drawn and sides allready taken, it seems that no amount of the truth could sway those who hate the Conservative Patriot American.

Edited , and then I answered it.
It will affect me greatly, and damn them for pushing any of us up against a wall.

Eventually it will affect all regardless of whether you buy online or not, also whether you are a buyer, seller or manufacturer.
People just don't make things for grins, nor to please you. Manufactures will cease to produce if volume and profits don't pencil out. Brick and mortar stores can no longer take up the slack, even without the pandemic limitations.
Most things your grandfather needed and wanted are gone from the sales rack, At least half the things your father needed or wanted are passe' too and gone from the shelves. I'm sure some of your favorite items have gone missing too because not enough folks were buying them for whatever reason.
It is not just supply and demand that makes tangibles fragile. Punitive taxes, regulations, laws and commerce red tape can stifle or shut down an industry post haste! Just wait till the global warming stuff hits the headlights. 2020 was a cake walk into town!
Call it the civilized and modern world. Just don't ask me to believe that all is good just because its new and modern.
I may be an old fuddy duddy but I'm seeing regressive, not a progressive or decent society evolving.
