Poll: Don’t buy expensive Defense Guns?

I plan on getting a slightly cheaper handgun soon. Either a new S&W M P 2.0 in .45 ACP., or another S&W model 10 rust bucket that I will clean up inside and out. Can't do the Makarov cheap gun idea that my friend suggested for the reasons mentioned in the Sheriff's article.

I have long thought I would love to carry a Semmerling LM-4, but the current manufacturer says "limited production" and P.O.R. which means it's a LOT more $ than I could fork out. I submit this as a definitive example for the question at hand.

Meanwhile the S9 just keeps chuggin' along.
