I'm very new to C.H.L and its rules....was wondering if you guys could answer one for me.

Can you carry your firearm in a backpack if you wanted? I know its not the best way to carry, but can you or dose it have to be on your person to be qualified.

A CHL in OR allows you to carry your handgun loaded and unlocked on your person and outside of your home and car. In a pack/purse/messenger bag/ziploc in a body cavity are all allowed if you have your permit.
