Besides me, who all is waiting for a stamp?

I've heard that quite a lot,I'd like to find out what that is all about some day but the NFA and ATF BS plus the hoops you have to jump through isn't worth it to me,not to mention the wait,I never buy anything I can't just walk out with the same day I buy it.(unless there is a delay because of a gunshow)

Can't ever get your stuff if you don't start the process. I'm startled to say that I have 9 NFA items. That's $1,800 I've given to the ATF over the past 4 years.

Ive paid for 10 stamps but currently only have 5 in my possession I went a little nuts and bought 4 more suppressors and another SBR to get them sorted before the 41P transition

I would. I should have done a sbr and a handgun caliber when I did my 2 others.

Eight stamps all submitted between 8/10/15 and 9/20/16. All but one was approved and received by 4/10/16. Of which 2 was sent back for error corrections which added an additional 3 to 4 weeks to the wait, those have since been approved and have been taken home. All are on a trust. I have one more form 4 for a 762 Saker can that just got submitted two weeks ago and a E Form 1 submitted this last weekend. I expect the latest form 4 to be approved before July of this year, and the E Form in a couple months or so. Now if I can just find some time to play with the new toys! The wait was bad enough, finding time to play is another issue!

It's pretty easy to fill out, although the site only works with certain browsers. You enter a credit/debit card to pay the tax.

Before or after, it's up to you. Just have it engraved before you put it together.

FWIW, I just went down to Eugene to have some stuff laser engraved by @LaserMan; he did a great job and I would highly recommend him.

Eugene is far for me. I think I might just go across the river and get it engraved at NWCustomFirearms. But yeah thanks a lot for the great info. I think I'll go online and do the form 1 when the site is back up tonight.

I used "Bye Engraving" here in Portland and they were great to deal with.

I've seen Bye recommended again and again. I'll be using them for my planned SBR's and form 1 suppressor.

submitted form 1140-0014 for a suppressor on 12/01/2015, approved on 04/07/2016, stamp arrived @ dealer on 04/19/2016.
