According to FOX12:

"...A McMinnville Police Department spokesperson said there are no laws preventing someone from carrying a firearm onto a hospital campus in Oregon, so the employee is not facing criminal charges. The shooting was ruled to be an accident."

Well, at least he won't have a criminal background while he's out looking for a job.
 
I always keep a pistol in a holster, even if it's just a cheap one that covers the trigger.


I do not carry guns that don't have one in the chamber - that's never caused a ND in my lifetime.

I bet somebody's gonna "fix" that little oversight, if recent legislation is any guide. My dad would not recognize what our states have become. I don't recognize 'em, for that matter. o_O
 
I've carried in a backpack from time to time. But any time I do, it's in a retention type holster that protects the gun and keeps the trigger completely covered. Never been a problem, but of course, I don't go around dropping my pack either.
