Old combloc steel, that's what I tend to go for. I have so many mags I lost count... For the most part, only one BFPU mag had to be fixed. The only other mag I had to fix was one I dented on purpose to see how tough it is.

Most I spent on mags were for Hungarian tankers and a Russian RPK mag... Still debating on if I want to spend $100 on a Bosnian two rib mag.

As if the OP didn't get ribbed enough... y'all missed the part of the OP that made the least amount of sense:
I'm not trying to be petty - But, there is a limited amount of things a person can talk about concerning shooting.
I have yet to find a limit to the subjects, let alone the tangents that those subjects inevitably take... And the gun porn!
No I'd say we have plenty to talk about. Otherwise that little "NEW" link above wouldn't keep us coming back here day after day to talk out our Azzes about things like whether or not it's kosher to take pictures of a vertically oriented safety lever...

Hey... I'm gentile, I don't care if its kosher. :p

Well, I read through the whole thread. My first thought, reading the OP was, how could you have the safety on unless the hammer was cocked? And why would I want the hammer cocked for a photo shoot? I keep an AR unloaded unless I'm shooting it - in the safe, it's unloaded, since I don't currently use an AR for home defense. In fact, the only guns that are ever loaded at home are the home defense/carry guns - and they are locked up when not in use, loaded, with one in the chamber.

Exactly.

Annnddd.... I think @YOURSUPREMECOMMANDER is funnin' us on this one. Put up an absurd post and watch us chase our tails. :D

I've spent hours over at his place talking about shooting and reloading.

I have deliberately loaded rounds into magazines backwards, HK Style, and posted the pics with my pistols, and watched the OCD guys heads explode.

It's the new thing going around allot of Facebook groups. If you post photos of your Enfield ( for example) the safety has to be on? Wait what? You just deleted my photo because I didn't have my safety on? Why yes we did,
Read the posted rules!! Ok you guys are
%#*+^%# idiots. And then they kicked the Velzey outta their pinko commie safety on for photo group. Several groups actually.

Just like how the Youtube Nazis just nuked Brownells's channel...

If you don't understand how guns work, I guess it makes sense.

You know...…….. Like counting on the police to save you. :s0140:
I called the police once when two tweekers were trying to break into my house in the middle of a bright sunny day and threatening me while they did it. They called me back 4 hours later and said "uh, yeah you called us earlier but we were too busy with more important stuff. Do you still need a police cruiser to come by?" Won't make that mistake again.

The OP I also noticed hasn't responded to this thread even though he was last on @10:23am today. Maybe he's starting to realize he's not really @YOURSUPREMECOMMANDER after all........:p Maybe we should talk about thinking before posting, now there's something NEW to talk about.......or am I being "petty"?

Maybe the OP is an admin over there.

I stand by my original "pathetic" analysis.

Your reply:
"Well, can you at least come to pick up the bodies, their going to start getting ripe?"

He is mainly here for the classifieds. Like this 10/22 he had for sale. You may notice the safety is off...

camera042818-154-jpg.jpg is off...

It was a time when I was younger and drifted away from owning a gun, mostly because I only owned hunting guns and moved to a big city. I handled that situation with shiny objects and a baseball bat.
