Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
I used the mouth of an empty 5.56 shell case to scrape the carbon off of the bolt tail of one of my bolts. It had about 6,000 rnds through it at the time. Changed out the rings and extractor just because. The mouth of the shell case has about the same contour as the bolt tail. Not sure if that makes sense without a picture but, it works alright. I didn't have any bolt problem before or after so that was the only time I've done it.
