Tax stamp $200. First suppressors cost me 1 Grand, last one - $400. Find a gunsmith who knows what he's doing. All mine ( about 12 ) cost between $75 and $85 apiece to thread. Thread caps cost $10. Don't let anyone tell you need a .22 hole for .22, 6.5 for 6.5, .30 for.30... so on. Get the magnum .30 supp., and it works fine on your .17 H. One of best investments ever.

I have a 7x57 Ackley improved and it shoots great. But I don't have any dies so I have to shoot factory 7mm Mauser ammo only until I can find dies. Anyone here happen to have a used set that they would want to part with! Mine has quite a story to it as it was barreled back in the 60's and went through two owners before it was stocked about 10 years ago and actually shot. Built on a VZ 33 receiver.
