I think the yankee marshal had an aneurysm over that one.
Let's talk factory ammoWith the right load a 10mm can keep up with the .44 Mag.
See what I mean!
A component some 1911 owners often overlook in the feeding equation is the recoil spring, which is not expensive at all. Learned about that too late, long after I had traded away (with full disclosure) a mis-feeding ODI Viking 1911 with the Seecamp DA conversion. I'll always wonder if I might've made that one work. I've never seen another and it would've been a unique piece to keep. Thanks teflon!
My series 70 Colt was liked that until dad had it "polished and throated" as they used to call it , before it became mine.
Now it feeds ball and hollow points , even all lead bullets just fine.

Pants up don't loot.Did y'all notice every one of those "People" had their hands up and not one had a weapon.
No fair don't go back and redraw them now.

Heck, I figured that if I needed to shoot something that required a .44, I could just shoot it twice with my .22
Should I change their color too?Did y'all notice every one of those "People" had their hands up and not one had a weapon.

Probably, unless you want to see a bunch of white kids in skinny jeans and douche-knots block traffic downtown and vandalize other peoples' property.Should I change their color too?
I'm tripio'n' here.Barista: "What kind of gun is that?"
Me: "It's a 1911."
Barista: "Why do you want it?"
Me: "It leaves a large exit wound."
Barista: "You mean venti?"

Who is more deadly: a SOC high speed operator with a .22lr or some guy that drags his .44mag to the range a few times a year?
