I'm going to put together a 6.5 Grendel hunting rifle. I am leaning towards a Alexander Arms 24" Lightweight. Anybody Have experience with said uppers or any other Grendel uppers?
I had a Grendel upper from AA, the Hunter model with the 19.5" barrel. Sold it years ago and regretted it. Function and accuracy were fine. I had the hankering to build another but prices and availibility in the current craziness have got me waiting until things calm down a little.
After much research...I might be canceling my order with AA, They seem to be extremely back ordered (like over a year for 24" stuff), They don't want any contact or to be bothered or to offer explanation or updates so I am considering canceling and waiting a while..
I've got a 28" lother Walter barrel on an AA heavy duty upper. I've a couple mags, 100 peices of ammo needing to be fire formed with dies and some more bullets.
If interested PM me your email address and I will send you pics and price.
