jig
The jig (Irish: port) is a form of lively folk dance in compound meter, as well as the accompanying dance tune. It developed in 16th-century England, and was quickly adopted on the Continent where it eventually became the final movement of the mature Baroque dance suite (the French gigue; Italian and Spanish giga). Today it is most associated with Irish dance music, Scottish country dance and the Métis people in Canada. Jigs were originally in duple compound meter, (e.g., 128 time), but have been adapted to a variety of time signatures, by which they are often classified into groups, including light jigs, slip jigs, single jigs, double jigs, and treble jigs.
I'm getting 1 or 2 80% lowers. No intention of having more than that, so I don't need a jig long-term. Anyone want to rent a jig to me for a while (a month or two, since I don't know exactly when I'll want to do the work)? PM me if you are near Seattle and want to do a hand-off. I don't know...
I'm curious if anyone has used this jig and would have any tips or tricks for us.
This is a new project for us (my son and I) after completing several Glock 80% builds. The lowers we have are 7075-T6 anodized.
Some questions that would welcome some insight:
1. I don't own a drill press (or...
If anyone has an ar jig they don't use, preferably one you can use a router for I'm interested in taking it off your hands for sure. A 5d tactical is preferable, but if you have another brand lets talk anyways. In McMinnville, Oregon. I'm open to paying for shipping if need be. I'm not open for...

Bought this at the beginning of 2017 with the intention of building a glock....needless to say, have not got around to it.
The lower is the PF940 V1 gen 3 and will of course need to be milled.
Complete lower parts kit and have four 33 round Korean glock mags (9mm) and 1 factory Glock mag (17...
Hello am wanting to build a second 1911 an really don’t want to wait months ordering from caspian was curious if anyone had a 1911 jig could rent and use for a frame? Will purchase new cutting blades. Really have no need for it after the frame is cut an was hoping someone may have one from a...
I have the typical story. I would like to complete an 80% lower for all the usual reasons but the cost of the jig does not make it appealing to me. When I can get a complete Aero lower for $150 its hard to justify a lower plus the jig for $150 or more.
I am in Seattle and would be willing to...
This is my second review of the 5D tactical (sorry this took some time getting up).
The first review was pulled due to multiple issues I had. After speaking with Andy the owner, I gave it a second go around. An additional note: I know nothing of metal working. I know there was discussion of...
