home
A home, or domicile, is a living space used as a permanent or semi-permanent residence for an individual, family, household or several families in a tribe. It is often a house, apartment, or other building, or alternatively a mobile home, houseboat, yurt or any other portable shelter. A principle of constitutional law in many countries, related to the right to privacy enshrined in article 12 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is the inviolability of the home as an individual's place of shelter and refuge.
Homes typically provide areas and facilities for sleeping, preparing food, eating and hygiene. Larger groups may live in a nursing home, children's home, convent or any similar institution. A homestead also includes agricultural land and facilities for domesticated animals. Where more secure dwellings are not available, people may live in the informal and sometimes illegal shacks found in slums and shanty towns. More generally, "home" may be considered to be a geographic area, such as a town, village, suburb, city, or country.

Just moved to the area, and I've been less than impressed with the local gun stores.
Anybody have recommendations for a home based FFL? Preferably on the south end of town.
Bought these and ended up not liking as I'm a lefty. The lever trashes my finger with the safety and the semi ejects across my field of vision. They're fine if you shoot righty. Both have screw in adjustable chokes ...I think I can dig some up but not sure where I put them...
The semi has less...

I live in a cul de sac with 360 degrees of neighbor housing. My consideration of penetration through building materials is a factor in choosing a pistol for carrying while inside my home. In the unlikely event of a burglar/home invasion scenario, I must consider stopping power, accuracy...
This looks to be some sort of home made outdoor campfire cooking deal. It has a swing arm on it which I assume is for temperature controlled cooking over the fire. It also has a little cooling rack or low temp cooking area on the side. What you see is what you get (minus the 2 year old).
Don't...

So a while back I saw this Pinter home brew start up and I bought a set for my husband for his birthday. It is a fun idea. You order beer kits from their website, mix a batch up, and then wait until it is ready to drink. Well, right after I bought the kit for him, before he had even used it, he...
I tried button rifling a piece of 1045 steel I had lying around, it didn’t turn out quite as clean or properly dimensioned as I’d hoped. I think perhaps the steel isn’t too soft and sprung back too much. I’m going to find some 416 rod and try that. Anyone have experience with DIY button...
People have been arguing about home defense for my entire 73 years. However the 12 gage shotgun is considered a "heavy hitter" and tops the list.
I have a cousin I visited the other week who is adequate with her pistol yet is considering adding a shotgun. I took along my Mossberg .410 with 22...
So, if one was going to recommend a firearm to a non-shooter for home defense, what would it be? I definitely have my own opinions, but I am interested in getting the communities’ thoughts.
I know a Taurus but it's the Executive Grade ,hand fitted and polished.5 shot 410 or 45LC 3 inch chamber.Couldnt pass it up ,like new for 400.00 with Vault case.Think it would stop the bad guy?
It's the softest shooting AR I have ever shot and that's what I was hoping to accomplish. The Brown ceracoats didn't show up like it was brown but the upper did, their is texture in the coating as well.
Fired 60rds. It's a great rifle I'm into much more than I'm asking.
