arisaka
The Arisaka rifle (有坂銃 Arisaka-jū) is a family of Japanese military bolt-action service rifles, in production and use since approximately 1897, when it replaced the Murata rifle (村田銃 Murata-jū) family, until the end of World War II in 1945. The most common specimens include the Type 38 chambered for the 6.5×50mmSR Type 38 cartridge, and the Type 99 chambered for the 7.7×58mm Type 99 cartridge, which was comparably powerful to a modern .308 round. Many thousands of Type 99s and other Arisaka variants were brought to the United States by soldiers as war trophies during and after World War II.
This is an all original numbers matching gun. Mum is ground. When I got it, it was still full of cosmoline so I assume it was a new rifle that was brought back as a souvenir. I have shot around 10-20 rounds through it. It is in great shape but there is some minor surface rust. I did not remove...
This is a nice early war rifle. It has the original monopod (worth $200 alone). The cleaning rod is a repro. I also have some modern ammo available if you want to purchase it with the rifle (not for sale alone).
No longer available
Selling the last of my Arisakas to continue funding another large purchase.
Type 99 with visible Mum,although it does have some chisel marks-see photo
Its getting harder to find these with any sort of Mum visible..
Wood and metal are in typical Arisaka condition..somewhat rough.
I believe it...

Sporter of a surrendered Japanese Arisaka from WWII. This is the Type 99, 7.7mm variant. The receiver and mag well are original, barrel and stock have been replaced with American components. This has as Bishop stock but the front end cap is missing. This thing is the smoothest 30 Cal rifle I've...
[SOLD] $225 - Selling a 7.7mm Arisaka type 99. Mum has been ground off, but wood and action are good. Solid rifle, not the late-war desperation models.

Here is my 6.5 arisaka, has minor rust that was on exposed surfaces and blood or salt that got on the muzzle end stock splice has been re glued and the wrist hairline crack was glued also, bore is bright and strong, no import marks but overall one of the better t38's I had in my collection...
Produced in the Koishikawa (Tokyo) arsenal between 1911 and 1933. Low serial number (7706 of 56,000) probably puts it around 1915. Condition pretty good for 100 years old. Some light rust, primarily on the action and bolt, slightly heavier on the floor plate and trigger guard. Very nice...
I have a neat WW2 sporterized Japanese Arisaka chambered in 300 savage. Very accurate rifle. Great for deer. Awesome historical value. Japanese Kanji symbols still visible on receiver. $260
