WWII Japanese Type 99 Arisaka rifle, has a chrome-lined barrel in 7.7 caliber. Rifle has a bayonet and leather sling included.
I suspect the sling is a reproduction. No mum, great example of a Japanese warhorse.

Cool what you have there is a surrendered arisaka. the grind mark on the top was a chrysanthemum the symbol of the japanese emperor. all surrendered ones where ground off but the ones captured in the field were not ground off. My friend has one with the chrysanthemum still on it.
