Neighbor came over to show me his latest toy; a CAA Micro Roni Gen 4 Glock conversion kit. Turns a G19 or G17 into a braced subgun.

He said it was only $250. It was cool as heck, so I searched online and found one in FDE for $199 and free shipping so ordered one.

I just bought one and a G23 to go with it. The charging handle design binds and the thing chokes after about 4-5 rounds every time. Looks trick tho.

I was at BiMart, yesterday, looking for some .40S&W and found American Eagle/Federal 5.7x28 ammo instead.
I purchased my limit of 2 boxes and came back this morning and bought 2 more
There were 6 boxes left after I bought mine this AM

Gun related, but not gun related impulse buy. I was in Doc Holliday's gun shop in Grant's Pass and bought this on a whim.
The shop is done up Old West style and it has an old bar and back bar they use to display stuff as well as some cases of great old weapons and ephemera.
Anyway, this was on a counter and I said I'd take it without thinking. We can and preserve, so it was a no brainer.

I've since checked prices and I paid somewhere in the middle, so I consider that a win. It's 18" tall and the logo and design are great, but the eagle and stars sold me. The bottom has a crackle design.

Wife and i are spending the week in prineville. Road the bikes to town to check out the 2 gun shops. One had a supposedly used glock 42. Looks brand new. Went back a couple if hours later and it's coming home to milwaukie.

I've been especially prone to impulse buys lately...My local GS has a wall that is always covered in beautiful used handguns.... Which wouldn't be so bad if they weren't priced such that it is an exercise in futility to keep it in my pants(my wallet that is)...
Couldn't pass this up obviously... it's an Italian 10mm!

...and when my WA state mandated 10 day waiting period was up, and I went in to pick it up...this sweet little 21a was hanging there with a ridiculous price...

Been wanting one ever since I got my Silencerco Spectre2...(gotta send the barrel in to be threaded of course)
I have to go back next week to pick it up and I'm afraid of what is going to be up there.

Bunch of small parts and upgrades for me...culminated with an Icarus Precision ACE XL Hybrid grip for my P365 that should be here on Tuesday. That, and a JMAC Customs folding arm brace with gearhead works Tailhook Mod 1C for my MPX. I think I've finally found the brace I like (of course, it's also the most expensive one I've tried).
