My carry guns have always been stock. Why give the LEO's a custom gun if things go the way you don't want them to.

Hey I kinda like the top one!!

The "hot loaded" ammo one has always stuck in my craw. Show me one instance where a defendant's hand-loads caused a trial to go south. In his older but still interesting book "In The Gravest Extreme", Massad Ayoob mentioned these items, and also "hot" loaded ammo. Can't imagine what fun a dirtbag prosecutor would have with RIP rounds, etc. My home defense Glocks are stock as a box of rocks, with Meprolight sights, and Speer Gold Dot ammo (used by many LEO organizations). Seems reasonable advice in today's overly litigious world....
Oh boy, you will never get jury sympathy with that lowerJust avoid stuff like this:

The CSI shows add about 39 more things to your listIt all boils down to three things...
1. Did the person getting shot need shooting?
2. Did the person doing the shooting intend to shoot them?
3. Geographical location of the shooting.
