Well this is the way I journal things on the notepad on my phone (keep it backed up on the cloud since I've got a lot of them lol):
(I ended up with a 5 pack
in one of my orders they either tossed in free or miss filled my box)
Montecristo White Vintage
Double Corona 6.2x50
Star Rating: *****
Price: $13 x 20 per box
Visual Impressions:
Nice double cap
Smooth wrapper with visible seams
Triple banded
Perfect construction, no soft or hard parts, very consistent with the slightest give.
Cold Draw:
Nutty hazelnut almond flavor on the draw
V cut has perfect resistance on draw
Nice mouth feel
Light Up Time:
12:29pm
First inch Impressions:
Very light creamy smoke. Earthy leather nutty on the draw. Very slight zing on the retro. Mello light slightly sweet finish that lingers.
Very slow burner with perfect ash and burn line.
Surprisingly good for a mellow-medium cigar.
First 3rd Impressions:
Still hazelnutty, creamy slight spice and a hint of coffee.
Perfect burn line.
Nice ash that hangs on.
Slight smoke at rest but has increased output on the draw. Light to medium smoke with a nice complex mellow finish that lingers a good while.
Second 3rd Impressions:
Slight changes in the flavors but still a nice nutty coffee with a hint of cooking spices and vanilla. Burn and ash couldn't really be any better. Slight uptick in strength that is nice. Finish lingers forever.
Last 3rd Impressions:
Excellent blend of flavors. Similar to the 2nd third but more smoke and slightly more strength. Smoked down to the 3/4" nub.
End Time:
1:45
1 hour 15 min smoke
Final Thoughts:
Absolutely pleasant cigar with no down sides for a medium bodied stick. Complex flavors on the draw and finish. Have to give it 5 stars as it was excellent to the end.
Out of my price range except for promotions or giveaways.
And I add pics:
