Well this is the way I journal things on the notepad on my phone (keep it backed up on the cloud since I've got a lot of them lol):

(I ended up with a 5 pack
in one of my orders they either tossed in free or miss filled my box)

Montecristo White Vintage
Double Corona 6.2x50
Star Rating: *****
Price: $13 x 20 per box

Visual Impressions:
Nice double cap
Smooth wrapper with visible seams
Triple banded
Perfect construction, no soft or hard parts, very consistent with the slightest give.

Cold Draw:
Nutty hazelnut almond flavor on the draw
V cut has perfect resistance on draw
Nice mouth feel

Light Up Time:
12:29pm

First inch Impressions:
Very light creamy smoke. Earthy leather nutty on the draw. Very slight zing on the retro. Mello light slightly sweet finish that lingers.
Very slow burner with perfect ash and burn line.
Surprisingly good for a mellow-medium cigar.

First 3rd Impressions:
Still hazelnutty, creamy slight spice and a hint of coffee.
Perfect burn line.
Nice ash that hangs on.
Slight smoke at rest but has increased output on the draw. Light to medium smoke with a nice complex mellow finish that lingers a good while.

Second 3rd Impressions:
Slight changes in the flavors but still a nice nutty coffee with a hint of cooking spices and vanilla. Burn and ash couldn't really be any better. Slight uptick in strength that is nice. Finish lingers forever.

Last 3rd Impressions:
Excellent blend of flavors. Similar to the 2nd third but more smoke and slightly more strength. Smoked down to the 3/4" nub.

End Time:
1:45
1 hour 15 min smoke

Final Thoughts:
Absolutely pleasant cigar with no down sides for a medium bodied stick. Complex flavors on the draw and finish. Have to give it 5 stars as it was excellent to the end.

Out of my price range except for promotions or giveaways.

And I add pics:

Spent some time today to organize my humidors better.

My wooden desktop (RH is 67-68) holds my daily go to's so I topped that off and put all of my yardgars or sticks I won't cry about if I have to toss them or put them out early back into a couple Snapware containers With Bovida packs to make more space in my bigger humidor (RH is 71-72) so it only has the good stuff:D

All shelves have a large 72% Bovida pack, I just took them out for pics.

Also have 1 refillable gel bead container on the top shelf and 3 at the bottom under the shelves behind a box of Toraño's. Digital hygrometer on top and bottom plus a Govee Bluetooth in the middle.

Top drawer is all 5 Vegas A's Stacked 3 deep

Camacho Scorpion... One of the last of the greatest cigars ever made.
I bought the last two boxes on the east coast about 7 years ago. After this, I have one left.

Drawer 5 is a mix of really good stuff mixed in with some overflow daily go to's stacked 3 deep:

(that's the Govee Bluetooth hygrometer- can't recommend it enough if you have $20 and a smartphone or tablet)

Drawer 6 is all 6x60 2 deep (a few 7x60's as well), mostly Gurkha with some Brick House Fumas Maduro's I took a liking too and my last 3 La Perla Habana Black Pearl Cobre's:

(oh and a 5 pack of Gurkha Status Maduro torpedo's - also yet to try)

Underneath is a box of Toraño Santiago's and more gel bead containers with a cheap digital hygrometer:

(those gel bead containers say 250 cigars per and with 4 of them in there plus a Bovida pack on each shelf I haven't had any issues with much RH fluctuating nor have I had to recharge anything in the couple months I've had them in there - I'd be surprised if I have to recharge anything in les then 6-8 months, the seal on the front of the cabinet is magnetic and holds things pretty consistent as long as I'm not in and out of it all the time which is why I put my go to's in the desktop at a lower RH. In winter I'm finding 71% isn't bad out of the big one but prefer the 68% in the desktop)

I had originally taken pics just for personal reference but I'm stuck at home bored so I figured I'd Just post them.

Im a lot happier with drawers in there over shelves and think I'm pretty happy with the result of the reorganization.

It may be ever evolving though as I try a lot of the ones I've yet to sample and hope to just have it full of stuff I really like eventually.

On that Govee unit...

I will get around to getting a couple more so I can have one in the top and the bottom of the bigger unit and one in the desktop. It's stupid accurate and it's kinda nice to have a 365 day history on there.

I didn't take pics of the hour or year but this is what the Day, Week and Month look like.

Pretty easy to see where I put the new drawers in as well as the slight up and down in RH as the temp swings up and down. (I have the temp set at 67 and it's only hit that twice this year so I'm interested to see how it does in the summer and may bump it up to 70 cuz as soon as the humidor hits 67 it drops the temp pretty fast a few degrees).

Tried a kristoff kristania maduro today. I first heard about these on the cigar Dave show in the early 90s but never got around to trying one. He seemed to always be smoking kristoff, davidoff, and opus X in those days as I recall.

Summ: score 9.4/10 sweet, very smooth, creamy, very flavorful, oily in mouth, tons of smoke, not bitter, perfect construction. A top 3 cigar for me despite it being more full bodied than I like. If it had a bit more aroma and a bit less body this would be pretty close to ideal for me.

Bitterness: 2, 2, 2-3 (10 = most bitter)

Pepper: 2, 2, 4 (10 = most pepper).

Tongue bite/harshness: 1-2, 1-2, 1-2 (10 = lots of tongue bite and/or harshness)

Sour: 0, 0, 0 (10 = most sour)

Body: 6-7, 7, 7-8 (10 = fullest body)

Strength: 1, 2-3, 5 (10 = highest nicotine)

Flavor: 8, 9, 9-10, sweet very deep flavors but not bitter (10= best quantity and quality)

Aroma: 2-3, 3, 3-4 (10 = highest amount and best possible)

Smoke: very very high, 2 distinct smoke colors blue and greyish-brown, I noticed change in flavors coincides with change in smoke color (fe lots of brownish-grey tastes diff than when it has lots of blue, more blue in 1st third than later on)

Firm: normal

Draw: perfect, perfect amount of resistance and gobs of smoke

Presence: 3, 3, 3 (10 = most mouth presence, beyond 5 becomes detrimental for me)

Burn and construction: perfect, tons of smoke but still slow burning, no touch ups, no re-lights

Price: $2.80 ea in a 5 pack from auction. Costs a bit more but this one is well worth it imo.

Very tempted to smoke this one this morning, but, alas, I am fighting some sort of illness. Putting in, roughly, 70-80 hour work weeks. And woman is away, so toddler wrangling too. And I just lost my train of thought. Happier days will come, including lighting up this stick. :p

Tried a Rocky Patel the edge corojo today.

Summ: score 8.2/10. very nice smooth smoke with no glaring negatives. Nice aroma. Somewhat tangy/citrus. Seems like this and RP decade would be a good compliment to each other with decade being more earthy and musty and this one more fruity/tangy. Perfect body wise for me but flavor profile is not really my preference (it's more tangy) but for someone else may be perfect. If u like corojo wrappers I'm sure u will like this one.

Bitterness: 2-3, 4 (10 = most bitter)

Pepper: 3, 2-3, (10 = most pepper).

Tongue bite/harshness: 4 t bite only, no harshness at all for me (10 = lots of tongue bite and/or harshness)

Sour: 3, 3-4, (10 = most sour)

Body: 4-5, 5, (10 = fullest body)

Strength: 1, (10 = highest nicotine)

Flavor: 5 tangy (citrus) and definitely fruity notes for me -long finish -very slightly sweet at times but dry overall -some walnut notes to me, (10= best quantity and quality)

Aroma: 4-5 very nice aged tobacco type but not super aromatic (10 = highest amount and best possible)

Smoke: normal

Firm: firm

Draw: somewhat tight in 1st third, becoming tighter in 2nd third,

Presence: 3, (10 = most mouth presence, beyond 5 becomes detrimental for me)

Burn: good/normal, 1 touch up, no re-lights, pretty slow burning

Price: just under $3 in a sale sampler

Tried a Cohiba connecticut today

Another testament to making sure cigars get enough humidor time. Previous one I tried was after 1 week in humidor while this one a month or more. Differences: 1st one I found flat, uninteresting, and without flavor. It was also firm, with better draw. 2nd one much more flavor and aroma, softer firmness, tighter draw. Both had no transitions in flavor throughout.

Summ: score 8.5/10 very nice smooth mild cigar. I like it better than macanudo cafe due to a bit more flavor and body. Also better than the griffins, Davidoff tubo 3x3, and ghurka beauty for me. On par with macanudo inspirado white but without the transitions in flavor. I like less than macanudo gold label. This one is kind of a can't miss when wanting a mild cigar imo in the sense of it won't turn anyone away with surprises, pepper etc and has a nice flavor, aroma, and construction.

Bitterness: 2, 3, (10 = most bitter)

Pepper: 2-3, 2-3, (10 = most pepper).

Tongue bite/harshness: 2, 1-2, t bite only, no harshness at all (10 = lots of tongue bite and/or harshness)

Sour: 1, 1, (10 = most sour)

Body: 2, 2 (10 = fullest body)

Strength: 1, 1, (10 = highest nicotine)

Flavor: 3-4 woody, toasted nut, a bit mossy, and charred tobacco type taste also, previous one I had "dry grass" as flavor and there is some of that too imo (10= best quantity and quality)

Aroma: 2-3, 4-5, (10 = highest amount and best possible)

Smoke: normal

Firm: normal

Draw: somewhat tight in 1st/2nd third,

Presence: 1, 2, (10 = most mouth presence, beyond 5 becomes detrimental for me)

Burn: excellent, no touch ups or re-lights

Price: just under $0.79 in that crazy Thompson 10 pack sale (after $1 Thompson cash). Don't know regular price.

Gurkha Beauty 6x60 this morning

Have had a few of these sitting and just don't smoke mellow ish cigars much but figure I should get to trying some of the ones I've just been holding onto for awhile.

flavors not bad. Nutty almond with some creamy notes and a little leather and a cooking spice I can't identify but not pepper.

Smoke is plentiful on the draw but you can hardly tell it's lit at rest.

Construction and burn are flawless.

(have some Beauty Maduro's and Beasts I'm looking forward to more but this one has been a decent cigar)

3/5 for me - better then an average cigar but just not my strength preference

FYI I found out a way to get free shipping on the Holts 10 for $15 sampler. If u add a gift card to the order it creates free shipping for entire order. So $15 plus $10 gift card = 10 cigar sampler plus a gift card for future use. Note I only tested the $10 gift card by mail for free shipping and didn't test the email gift card.
