LMAO... Back in '86 I saw a few of those w/o the forward assist on them being used by the Air Force guys when I was an U.S. Army goon in "Latin" America! Ours (at the time) weren't much better... we had the F/A and the rattling L/R hand guards, but some of ours didn't have the storage compartment in the buttstock either. :D

Well I got the kids out to the hills today. Boy did they have fun!

I know, bad Dad. As I was taking the picture I noticed she had taken her glasses off. Issue fixed :)

It was a good day! :D

I wonder... how does that thing deal with ricochets? Or do the boolits hit the gong and then just drop?? :s0155:

The only ricochets I have heard was when i was shooting my .45 at it.
But at 100 yds I am not real concerned.

Pretty much the bullit just vaporizes when it hits it.
It is hung so that it has a slight down angle.

I did not intend for the barrel to absorb fragments, but it did work out for that anyway.

The first version.

I like that one better but, it only lasts if I am the only one shooting at it.
Inexsperianced shooters always seem to shoot the legs out from it.
