I might have posted this one before, but years go I was unable to close the action on my TC Encore with a .510 Whisper in the chamber. A long time later I finally pulled the bullet and found a double charge (52 grains) of WC820 in it. I think the gun might have been damaged, but would have stayed together.

Luckily the worst mistake I've made was dropping some primers while trying to load them on the tray. I was lucky that none of them detonated, and still functioned after seating them.
 
The last handloading mistake I made lately resulted in her saying "wrong hole!".
There is no such thing as a "wrong hole"... it's affectionately known as the "bonus hole"...
