I have a home in CA and one in WA - - but as much as I am tempted to do so, I think it would be unwise to break the law.

As firearms owners, I think we have a responsibility to demonstrate that we, as a whole, are LAW ABIDING citizens, even if the laws are stupid.

Once we, as a group, advocate breaking the law, we are reducing ourselves to the criminal element from which we should be distancing ourselves. There has to be a way to be "legal" about this...

I'm hanging on to my guns/ammo. Administrations change, and there are still external threats, I've seen this before. There will always be wolves out there.

Noooo.......you think?

I think he should consider building a "virtual wall" by making E-Verify the law of the land.
Without jobs available, there is no magnet for illegal immigration.

Obama basically instructed the Border Patrol to not engage and not detain. Well, all that's going to change now.

Any illegals convicted of a "true crime" SHOULD BE deported post haste

As far as a path to citizenship for the (basically) law abiding citizens, there has to be consequences for breaking the US immigration laws. That means paying a steep fine in addition to filing for permanent residence status, passing a background check, filing back taxes, and basically coming into compliance with the law.

If you don't like it - then leave....

I've been saying this for years - you raise your children to respect the law - then you have to explain to them why the POTUS (Obama) is willing to let a great number of people get away with disregarding the law and even being rewarded for doing so.

THERE - I said it - - shoot me for speaking my mind

Sorry, that's not my religion. :)

As to .22LR, I have to say that, having a case of 6000 rounds was mighty comforting over the shortage... I advise buying a case if the price gets reasonable again.

We have distanced ourselves from the criminal element, it's the anti's and politicians that keep putting us in that category, so it's very hard to keep up.

During this last panic I made the mistake of telling Wife what Kel-Tec S2K's were selling for. Then she was all over me to sell one of mine. I could have easily sold one for twice what I paid. I did not because I like them so damn much and was not sure I would be able to replace it. Now that I can I kind of wish I had.

Not so long ago I bought a Browning 1885 Low Wall in .260 Remington. Paid about $750. Then the price went up because few were made and I sold mine for just under $2000. It allowed me to buy another 1885 and to have a custom barrel in 6.5 TCU installed, which I like a heck of a lot more than the .260 Remington - and it is probably even more valuable. Sometimes when there are desperate buyers out there, you just have to help them out. ;)

This has happened to me a few times when I was going to the shows to sell. Pawn shop I frequented saw me one day. Said they got another Mil surplus 1911 in. They knew I was always looking for them. He showed me a VERY nice 1911 that was easy to spot as old. it was not a Mil issue which I showed him. He wanted 3 for it. At that time a NIB 70 was around 4. I offered 250 and he jumped on it. When I got home I looked it up and it was made in the mid 30s. Next show someone saw it and "just had to have it". He paid me over twice what I had in it. I was glad to let him go home with it.

The problem with Wally and ammo is availability. I long ago stopped setting foot in the Wally's here. Wife still goes, glutton for punishment I guess. :) She does always look for .22 ammo while there. Normally the shelf is empty. It is sold as fast as it comes in. Wally has been great at not trying to take advantage of this panic. They sell it at the normal mark up.

ROTFLMAO!!
He has not even taken office yet and you and you're crystal ball gave us all the future. Of course we REALLY screwed up not electing the smartest woman in the world.

Def not saying she was worthy, just simply saying there was a lot of extremism with the campaign, and while so many voted based on his promises I think there will be some disappointment that's all. Maybe not as much as if she won but only time will tell. It's 2016 so did you really think he could do the things he said? That's on you if you did. I get to keep my guns so I'm happy...for the time being! Build a wall, genius, I'm from Southern California where they have mile long tunnels with lighting and a/c, it's been a long time since someone actually crossed above ground. But I'm sure everyone already knew that!!
;)

I usually escort my wife to WalMart as she is prone to last minute trips there after dark. As luck would have it, they usually stock the ammo shelves after 9pm so I get a shot at some 22 if some came in on the truck that evening. They will still only sell you one brick at a time so having a second body there helps replenish my stock. Four boys go through a lot of 22 each summer.

Or the same people that voted for his sane views will be happy when things go as planned. :s0155:

Have a little faith Brother. :D

True, I'm not the most political lol, just wanted to keep my guns! How long will it take to erraticate 3 million people? Do you think they will make it easy? There is a lot on the plate for 4 years. Again credit if he can, I just don't want to hear the same people complaining a year from now that's all

Regarding the OP's question, I don't sell or give away anything firearms wise. I am not as well stocked as I'd like to be, but I have most of the common calibers covered. I have three high capacity handgun magazines enroute and that will be the last of my 2016 purchases I think.
