A friend ordered one from Buckeye way back when, but missed out. He did get the ammo he ordered to go along with the gun...This definitely wasn't on my radar when I entered one of my LGS this morning. Buckeye Special, a limited run of 5000 Ruger Blackhawk in 10mm/.38-40. Been fired, but still looks new. Looking at what these are going for versus what they were asking, I couldn't pass. Just need to find some dies.

Thanks! Now I need it's paternal twin, the .32-20/32H&R, which came out the year before - also a run of 5000A friend ordered one from Buckeye way back when, but missed out. He did get the ammo he ordered to go along with the gun...
Really cool gun, @Dr_Lou .
That's actually badass, IMO. Post em!I feel embarrassed to post my revolvers. They don't go together all at once like not all from the same mother. Then I have old and new S&Ws this was not my intent. I am a poor father for my bastard revolvers.

Wonder why Ruger didn't also include a .40 S&W cylinder for a trifecta. This definitely wasn't on my radar when I entered one of my LGS this morning. They currently produce 40 S&w cylinders, wonder if I can order one without sending in my gun for fitting. Guess I can call and ask.Wonder why Ruger didn't also include a .40 S&W cylinder for a trifecta.
Nice find.
They are revolvers… I think that they are cool… good clean fun!
What about a picture thread devoted to the traditional "equalizers"? You know, wheelguns. I'll get us started:
