You can, you just need to get the receiver/firearm into the trust before the rule is published, which will likely be Tuesday. Big challenge will be finding a notary tomorrowSucks that you can't use a trust.
Ive never notarized anything on my schedule A but I haven't used a trust since 41P. Still 20 items on it.You can, you just need to get the receiver/firearm into the trust before the rule is published, which will likely be Tuesday. Big challenge will be finding a notary tomorrow
Same here.Ive never notarized anything on my schedule A but I haven't used a trust since 41P. Still 20 items on it.
Or just change the configuration in two minutes by swapping a 16" upper onto it and it is no longer an SBR. (Federally).Nah, unregistering a SBR'd receiver is just sending in a letter and waiting +/- 90 days
Yes. The maker of an NFA must engrave it before making it.Is an engraving still required?
No. Theyre waiving itYes. The maker of an NFA must engrave it before making it.
In this specific brace program? No. Theyre waiving it
I have not had time to read the ATF's new rule yet. Did they say that trust makers won't get the free stamp, or won't get the amnesty?Sucks that you can't use a trust.
Kirk from Washington Gun Law will help you out!I'm still digging through the 293 pages of the Final Rule but so far.........haven't found reference to pictures.

You can do a trust. The braced pistol just needs to have been added prior to the rule drop next weekI have not had time to read the ATF's new rule yet. Did they say that trust makers won't get the free stamp, or won't get the amnesty?
I had some other filing to do on e forms (not braced pistols) but it has been down often. Now I'm sure it will be bogged down for a year.
I was just thinking about Kirk. It will probably be a day or so before he gets a video up..Kirk from Washington Gun Law will help you out!

Can I see that somewhere. This would make things significantly easier.
