Here's part of a conversation with ChatGPT about evolution of humans vs Design.

Me:

If I were able to design and build a robot body that is equally as complex as a human body - would it be possible for that robot body to accidentally come into being?

**********

ChatGPT:

If you were to design and build a robot body that is equally as complex as a human body, it would still require intentional design, planning, and construction on your part. The level of complexity involved in creating a highly advanced robot body with the same level of intricacy as a human body would necessitate careful engineering, precise assembly, and the integration of numerous components and systems.

Accidental formation or spontaneous generation of a complex robot body, just like the accidental formation of a human body, would be highly improbable. The level of organization, functionality, and specific arrangement of intricate components within a complex system requires intentional design and purposeful construction.

In both cases, whether it is a robot body or a human body, the complexity and functionality observed suggest the presence of deliberate design and engineering.

These systems, regardless of their material composition, rely on the precise arrangement and interaction of numerous interconnected parts and subsystems to achieve their intended functionality.

It is important to differentiate between the accidental formation of simple structures or patterns in nature, which can occur through natural processes, and the intentional design and construction of highly complex systems that require specialized knowledge, planning, and deliberate action.

Me:

You are correct. The complexity and functionality observed suggest the presence of deliberate design and engineering.

ChatGPT:

I'm glad we agree on the recognition of complexity and functionality as indicators of deliberate design and engineering. It is a perspective that many people share when observing intricate and purposeful systems, whether in the realm of human creations or natural phenomena.

The interpretation of complexity and design in the world around us is often a matter of personal beliefs, philosophical outlooks, or religious perspectives. Different individuals may attribute the origins and complexity of life and the universe to various explanations, including natural processes, divine intervention, or a combination of factors.

It is important to approach these discussions with an open mind, respect for different viewpoints, and a willingness to engage in thoughtful dialogue. Exploring these topics can lead to deeper reflections on our understanding of the world and our place within it.

Me:

Thank you for this conversation. Goodbye until next time.

ChatGPT:

You're welcome! I'm glad we could have this conversation. Thank you for engaging in thoughtful discussion. Feel free to return whenever you have more questions or topics to explore. Goodbye for now, and take care until we meet again!

Me: Can you draw a chick with three boobs?

ChatGPT: I'm sorry but I cannot create pornographic images.

Me: She could have her shirt on.

ChatGPT: <Creates image of chick with three boobs. It's not very good. I become bored and go work on something.>

Man would I love to have a conversation with god's engineering design team.

  • Appendix? WTF? really?
  • only 2 sets of teeth and one set only lasts 3 years?
  • Joint cartilage that only grows and repairs to 18 years of age and then nothing after that?
  • But then wire up those same joints with pain receptors that cant be turned off for 50 years of arthritis? not even a snooze bar?
  • Speaking of wiring, you wire some of the most sensitive pain nerves in the ureter to detect a 2 mm kidney stone but then you wire the heart, a very important organ, to the arm so the arm hurts when having a heart attack? What? run out of nerves?
  • recurrent laryngeal nerve? seriously, who wires the larynx by running a nerve from the neck all the way down to the heart and then back up to the neck again to attach to something right next to it? Is that were you put the extra nerve that was supposed to go to the heart?
  • no one told the prostate to stop gowning after 18 years. Prostate grows for a 100 years but joint cartilage only for 18?
  • You attached NICOTINE receptors to the dopamine reward system which keeps us from, you know, starving to death so we crave it more than food. And then you WENT AND MADE NICOTINE?
  • You forgot to add actual muscle to the lower esophageal sphincter. You can make a nicotine plant but not an antacid plant?
  • Epiploic appendages? seriously, do I have to explain that design flaw? nipples on men? toenails?
  • Why even have a male pituitary that can even secret prolactin? Were you planning male breast feeding and just run out of time after adding nipples and prolactin and an couple ounces of useless breast tissue? Why even bother?
  • Forget you made the sun when you made fair skinned redheads?
  • And seriously no upgrade program? Just human version 1.0 and not even one upgrade to remove the appendix?
Going to go put on my smiting helmet now.

Basically... "AI software " used for writing, or artwork or some such.. should be more accurately called "plagiarism software" as it allows marketing companies to take stuff from copyrighted works everywhere to make "unique" stuff without paying for it.
