Doing a lot of home remodeling last week, I wound up doing a bunch of hand sawing, because none of my power tools were fit for the job.
Made me realize, in a SHTF scenario where power availability is questionable and the need to build stuff like barriers will still be significant, good *sharp* hand saws are a must. Crosscut, ripping, finishing, tenon, dovetail saws and the files to sharpen them. They don't take up much space or weight and sure come in handy. Don't forget hacksaws and replacement blades too.
