My Ruger SR1911, everything you want, nothing you don't. Typical of ruger, they managed to overbuild an existing design with the plunger tube integral to the frame

The one consistency of all the 1911 brands out there, is you will find people either loving them or hating them. With a few exceptions like Ed Brown, you will find lovers and haters of the Taurus. Just because you spend more, doesn't always guarantee a perfect 1911.

i love all my guns gp100,srhawk,blk.hawks,and my python,but nothing feels so right as when i grab my springfield mil-spec1911 or my sr1911 end of story.
