Yes, good eye Mine is one of the first Clarke TW200 oversize tanks. With the spare fuel on the back and moderate trails I should have a comfortable 250 mile range. On the highway a bit more

Im to far into suburbia to think about bugging out. My life will be more hole up and scavange off the ill prepared.

Besides, riding a motor bike down the road would make you a great target for those willing to take what you have...

In a Cascadia type event relocation may be required to survive. The ability to migrate a long distance may be required. With conventional transportation routes destroyed or blocked back country travel may be the only option. The ability to navigate single track trails , ford creeks and streams, climb steep trails, etc. might be a nice option to have available. I am not as fit as I once was. My endurance less too. Age is catching me. I like to have options. Pedal power, motored two wheels, 4x4, 4x4 - pulling base camp and all the two wheelers
For us it is about enjoying the here and now keeping our options available
