Yep I'm probably gonna slice the heads off of them and save them for a rainy day project for the girls in my family.

Next question... are there any metal recyclers around here who pay decent anymore? Last time I was at Tacoma Recycling was before my grandmother went into hospice and they basically didn't pay for anything.

Brass is selling for $1.80 +/- per pound nationwide.
Call around.

Aluminum prices are also cheap at $.13 - $.46 per pound.

So twenty bucks flat shipping plus fifty cents a pound the guy making the offer's getting the better end of the deal by a country mile.

Yeah I can't even get anybody to bite on my C/L ad for my scrap brass. They stand to make $125 + on the deal to recycle it all. I guess tweakers can't come up with the capital to make money.

Up here in Marysville they are paying twenty-five cents a pound for aluminum and $1.50 a pound for scrape range brass..I just took some in last week.
