Oh, and Rick is a great guy. He spends a lot of time at the range volunteering and helping out whenever he can.
 
I'll 2nd and 3rd checking the calendar before heading out - I've forgotten to do that twice before and ended up not getting to use the dynamic range because PPB was running drills out there. DRRC is a busy and popular range for a lot of different types of shooting, but there are still lots of windows of time where you can show up and shoot without a bunch of other folks there - the calendar makes that much easier.
 
The long range people there think they own the place. I am happy I left the club. Tryi shooting on Memorial or Labor day weekend. Probably can't because they have long range matches.

Every club I've ever belonged to is jammed on Memorial and Labor Day. Or, most any other Holliday! The same at ARPC, where I belong now!
 
I got an email from Joe, the VP at DRRC, confirming that I've been accepted as a new member. Orientation is Saturday, February 5th. I can go shoot immediately afterwards, he said... and I'll be doing that. You betcha. :s0035:
