Are people still waiting in line for ammo? LOL
No lines last time I was in one, 82nd/SE potland, there was a bunch of ammo on the shelf. I didn't study it carefully to see if there was 9mm. Some flavors I looked at had some pretty laughable prices under it.

NO.

STORY TIME.
Back before BGCs were enacted for FTF private sales in WA. My LGS supported the legislation.

He said why not? It makes WA safer.

But, he was probably thinking about.....
The increased profits/revenue from the passing of that law. Driving more business his way.

The law passed.

And, still.....he closed his business.

OK, Ok, ok.....the standard disclaimer applies.

Aloha, Mark
I'd have to agree with this on many fronts. When I was working at a LGS, they charged $40 for in state FTF transfers, $50 for out of state transfers and later on, when I wanted to get an SBR from another state, they charged me $200 to do a Form 3.

It's a gravy train to say the least. I'd see people walk out, especially if they had multiple guns to transfer as the fees were per gun.
