Correct me if this has been addressed before. I read the filing and the excellent blog. The ramifications is in the voter pamphlet which no one reads.I just finished reading the Filed Law Suit, it is a long read, but they are going after every part of I-1639 and not in the W Supreme Court either, in the 9th Circuit court which just got some new Conservative Judges that's to POTUS.
More than one person has mentioned Heller and taxes being an infringement.
To further the point of unreasonable infringement, nobody has mentioned the burden of taxes, firearms training, and extra fees for BGC for folks with limited income under the threat of violence. It is a unreasonable burden for a single mother (with little income) and children threatened by a current or ex-spouse. That single mother trying to pay rent and put food on the table for her children barely making ends meet. She could barely afford the lowest grade pistol and ammunition. Now the State is denying her a means of self defense due to poverty. Am I wrong?
Politicians get elected because they talk a good game but have
a different agenda once elected. In addition they make a good salary whether they show up to work or not.
So the poor suffer more because they have NOT walked in their shoes.
Kamala Harris. Refuses to speak with the President. I thought " when they go low you go high"? What a piece of work.
Sorry for the rant. I've seen this before in California with Feinstein, Boxer, Harmon, et.al. Washington State is traveling that
same road.
Buy 80% receivers or stripped receivers of any fire arm you'd
want in the future if you can't afford the "semi" now before prices skyrocket. That includes pistols, i.e 1911 frames. Buy hi-cap mags or mag tubes. You can get parts for them later. Buy any "menacing" feature part I.e bayonet lug, pistol grip, collapsible stock, etc. Something as innoxious as a "25 round" 10/22 mag will be banned in the future.
Ammo. You know they'll get to the "green tips" eventually.
I maybe getting ahead of myself on this issue. And I don't mean to the "town crier".
The mid-term elections are a foreboding look into the future
For the next party in the White House. I hope not. But I like to be prepared. I am not going through the California bubblegum again.
I am not going through the ammo shortage again. The California Feinstein clamp down was shocking. I was warned by my range members to stock up on "evil" items. I didn't listen. Had to pay a pretty penny for neutered "evil" items. So shame on me.
Had to wait 20 years for the AWB bill sunset. Although California kept the AWB intact albeit neutered.
Sorry this topic really riles me. I don't want the same thing
happening to this beautiful state. Unfortunately too many liberals are moving to Washington State with their socialist views.
I hope my insights from the past will help NWFA members
In the future.
