I pronounce it AKM or SKS.I pronounce it Knights Armament.
It varies. The SKS is a carbine despite having a 20" barrel, and I don't recall a rifle in 7.62x39 that had a longer barrel.
The Yugo mausers with around 19" barrels are carbines because the full length mausers had longer barrels.
Pretty much yes. Its almost never considered a carbine despite meeting the requirement.Just playing Devils advocate here.
