Hey bud, welcome aboard.

Go to the Rifle Classifieds (linked above), click on "post new ad", and just fill in the areas. Some are required, and pics (several, where possible) are highly encouraged.

You may wish to consider posting it both for sale AND trade, so if someone else has an AR308 you're interested in and they like your rifle, you can work out a partial or full trade, depending on how you both value things.

It sounds like you have a pretty good handle on it.. if you want to sell your AR and buy a bolt-action .308, sell your AR and buy a bolt-action .308.
