The AP wasn't there, they're reporting what the guy with the credit card machine said happened, which probably isn't completely accurate. "Shattered" was probably chipped or spiderwebbed, the chase may or may not have happened as he described it. The guy was pumped up on adrenaline and probably had never been in a similar situation, he's not going to remember it completely accurately.

It's true. He killed 40 some odd people at the first mosque before moving to the second where he only killed 7 and that's where an armed civilian returned fire and the guy was unable to kill more (which he stated he was trying to kill more).

The guy didn't return fire he picked up the empty shotgun the shooter dropped and when he realised it wasn't loaded he threw it at the the guys windshield.

I don't rant often and never on this site, but I am sick and tired of anti-gun idiots that think that the Legislature or President can just amend or do away with the 2nd Amendment. The reason for wanting it ranges from it is outdated to we should only have muskets that were used during the Revolutionary War.

They cry that they are afraid and shouldn't have their rights infringed upon just so we "gun nuts" can have our weapons of war.

My answer to them is:
1. It takes a 2/3 majority of Legislature and 3/4 of States ratifying (there are informal ways, but I won't get into those)
2. Who are you to tell me what I can have to defend my self and family and protect against all enemies both foreign and domestic
3. I will use muskets when you get off of the internet and stand on a soapbox, and ride a horse to work

I DO realize that they have NO Second Amendment as we do here in the US of A.

Will the police force be forced to comply with the same, exact gun laws that the citizens have to obey? What about their military?

Will the NZ PM and all NZ elected officials have NO specially armed guards to protect them from here on out?

Will they quit their protection or only have plain Jane/plain Joe guns to protect them if they continue to RECEIVE special armed protection?
