Grafting fruit trees workshop on Feb 9. Really bummed but planting orchard here need to know
Maybe next time...:)
I try to post these events about a month out , if I can...As a side note , when we moved down there...I have the shop's permission to set up display and teach there , when I can...
'Course that may or may not be helpful for the shop....:D
Andy

Thanks for the offer EPS.:)
I think I'm going to need fffg, (3F) though. I'm sure there will be some around when I'm ready.
Tomorrow I'll check Sebo's for some jute rope to make wicks out of.
That and a drug store for potassium nitrate to make a dip for them.

Is this event BYOR?
(Bring your own rifle)
Or can I borrow one of yours?
My pops sold off his last BP gun that didn't use a cartridge.
However, I'm pretty sure it was an Enfield Navy Carbine, which I think
used mini balls and caps anyway.

Also, blanket prize? Does it have to be period correct or can I bring a box of new fangled cartridge ammo?

@AndyinEverson this is just a day thing right? Or is there more?

Thinking of driving up make it a dealio with the wife
Its a one day event.
But I'm thinking its going to be fairly popular...the shop will be open and there is a pot luck as well.
I'll also have a few original rifles to display.
Hope to see you there...
Andy

Yep...you can borrow my rifle...no problem.
As for blanket prizes..yeah period correct is better...the Hawken Shop will be open and they have some good stuff there...like Powder , roundballs , caps and much more....
Hope to see you there.

Lol come on man really .lol
It's a old building like a log cabin .
The range is a long grass lanes out to 200 yards then they have 10 yard and 25 yard pistol RANGE.
No electronics .
If you want to change your Targets .
You must go face to face with everyone on the firing line .and say . RANGE is cold .
Every one must put down there guns and wait.
Nobody should have a gun in there hand when someone is changing targets.or down RANGE.
BASICALLY the best way is every one change there targets at the same time.
