I "borrow" most of mine. My creativity has declined greatly since I retired.

double action revolvers.
Are those guys still around?
After a certain Age that word changes.its fine sitting in your pants all day
So just to be clear ....... We are still talking about the metal thingamajig gun .....I wouldn't put one in the chamber unless "youre one with the firearm." I mean you been using it for a while and you already have the feel of that particular gun itself.
Are we? I thought... Nevermind. So just to be clear ....... We are still talking about the metal thingamajig gun .....
Yep, far as I know. Are those guys still around?
You don't need to wait till the sun goes down anymore ...Maybe go for a walk in old town in Seattle down by the jungle 11:00 at nite just to get some practice? im sure youll get some help their"
I agree. They should have just thrown a P320 at you.
That's the same as shooting someone.
Shooting AT someone. It's a P320, it's not accurate enough to hit you!
Besides, it has to hit the ground first before it can fire.
There's no guarantee it'll hit anyone. Just like shooting it deliberately.
edit: Dang it, Nos.
More like Sigs hurled. Not quite the same, but close.
Slow or fast...the transition to carrying with a loaded firearm should be made at your speed.I purchased my holster (phlster enigma) the day my permit was approved and had been dialing it in while wearing it in the house with an unloaded pistol.
Then I received my permit in the mail and Today was the day when I went grocery shopping, conceal carrying it for the first time. I called it my first dry run where the pistol was unloaded.
I practiced slow and firm draws from the appendix position and feel very comfortable but it has been with an unloaded firearm.
How do you mentally prepare yourself to start carrying with one in the chamber? Is there a slow transition to it?
Thanks in advance from a newbie
I am just going to say that public restrooms were the most hard part for me to learn. I just want to reiterate the wisdom of this.Slow or fast...the transition to carrying with a loaded firearm should be made at your speed.
You are carrying your handgun...in your situation.
What someone else does...may work well for them...and their situation...it may not work for you.
There is no one sized fits all answer for self defense or carrying a firearm.
I would suggest that....
You practice carrying all the time...even around the house....while you are doing everyday chores / activities...
To include using the bathroom...which may sound weird / silly now...but ...
Not so much when you are using a public restroom.
