I like the capacity of the glock, more bullets, more targets down. But I like the 1911, heavy and nice with all that steel. Worse case i'll pop something in the back of the head with it.

I really like my S&W Model 25-2. Six rounds of moon clipped .45 ACP goodness. Nice quick reload.

But that being said, I really dislike zombies. So given the opportunity, 13 rounds of .45 (vs. 8 for the 1911 or 6 rounds for the S&W) will kill more. Dead zombie is happy Bear...

Glock 21...Why?...Because I have one, and it shoots VERY well, with NO jams or FTF...Ever.

I've been renting one at the range, and though I am an average-sized woman and a new shooter, I shoot the G21 better than any pistol I've tried to date. I just love it.

Also, I just watched the Glock Torture Test with Larry Vickers...who couldn't love Glock after that? :s0132:

Find your gun and stick to it. fear the woman with one gun because she may use it very well, indeed

I have to show this to a buddy that is 6’2 and swears a Glock 20/21 is too big for his hand. I don’t get it either.

I don't have large hands, either. My glove size is small, actually. Tell him that too. :s0114:

(My 6'3" brother opted for the slimmer G36, but he hasn't tried the G21 yet...none available in his area. I'm hoping to get him out here and introduce him to it.)

Good advice...though I'm rather addicted to Glocks in general!

It's funny - I found the G21 at a shop recently and I asked the salesman to show it to me. He - and I understand it, I suppose - tried to encourage me to look at something else...so I showed him a picture of my target from shooting the rented one. He was convinced it was okay at that point.

I'm willing to try shooting just about anything, within reason - you just never know what you'll like the best.
