On a serious note, you are right. I don't like it, because I expect gun people to be a bit more intelligent, a bit more aware, a bit more grounded in American values, a bit more self-controlled. Yet there are some supposed gun people who, for whatever reason, seem to think acting like vermin is the way to go. Those are the ones who trash the wilderness, who have a complete disregard for gun safety, who are even so evil as to poach wildlife. I know that every human activity is going to have its bad actors, but damn, I really despise the vermin who dishonor the good people in gun culture.

All good illusrations, I was also thinking of the mossy-toothed mouthbreathing "wimmin got no bidness here and we don't want no college boys like YOU either" Bubbas that blighted the local range back in my college days.
