thread
In computer science, a thread of execution is the smallest sequence of programmed instructions that can be managed independently by a scheduler, which is typically a part of the operating system. In many cases, a thread is a component of a process.
The multiple threads of a given process may be executed concurrently (via multithreading capabilities), sharing resources such as memory, while different processes do not share these resources. In particular, the threads of a process share its executable code and the values of its dynamically allocated variables and non-thread-local global variables at any given time.
The implementation of threads and processes differs between operating systems.
Good evening,
Like my other ads, this thing works great but I'm downsizing. I've been running this on a 5.56 with no extra tuning required, and it is a quality standard-size suppressor. Not titanium, so it won't spark under night vision.
Please send me a private message, as I often don't see...
The purpose of this thread is to share your favorite recipes. Could be breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, snacks - doesn't matter, as long as it's good.
Here's one that recently made its way into my top 10 meals to make. If you're a fan of sushi and/or seafood salad, you'll probably like it...
Hello. I joned a few years ago. I am 52 years old. I started collecting firearms when I was a teenager growing up in Aloha. When I turned 18 I got my first shotgun. It's a cheap New England Fireamrs single shot 12 guage. After that I bought a Savage 30-06 for 139.99 at Bi-Mart in Aloha. I still...
Morning folks. I guess I forgot to post a new thread when I joined a few years ago. Doing so seems to open up new options to members. We will see what those are I guess.

Works great, adds a little back pressure for better cycling in AR pistols. Had it on a 300 Blackout that I just sold. $65 cash, or trade for $80 in ammo. I can use 9mm, 45acp, 5.7x28, .40S&W, .357mag, .38spl
I'm in the process o SBRing a Gen 1 Ruger American in 300 BO and looking for a gunsmith in the general Portland Metro area that does good work. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to pull and reinstall the barrel or have the smith do it, so prefer smiths that provide that service.
Who has done...
Ok...I'm usually pretty good at figuring out comps...but I'm struggling with this one.
I have a LH Savage 111 in .223, pre-accutrigger, synthetic stock, "blind mag".
Been a great gun, used it for 'yotes for a few years, but its been sitting idle for a bit. I'm wanting to build up a "medium...
Looking to get a compensator for my G19..
1/2x28 since I have a threaded barrel so none that run off of recoil springs.
Looking to spend around $25-30.
I'm stupid nervous about trusting a smith to thread a barrel. I have a have a beautiful Weatherby Vanguard Sporter in .270. Not an expensive gun. It's a Howa, right?
I'm in the PDX metro area, but willing to travel a bit.
Pm'ing me your suggestions and experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Must be cuz this is from Monday? Can't find it though.

I recently threaded the barrel from a Daewoo DR200. I had difficulty removing the barrel, so I figured I would share my process. There is a set of instructions that can be easily found online, but I found that either the upper I was dealing with was different from theirs, or they were simply...

Since you guys were up in arms about the last Winchester 94 I chopped up, I figured I would share another lever gun project that was a bit more modern to begin with.
The owner had attempted to thread the muzzle himself, several times, with a threading die. Each time the suppressor would not...
That thread that was just deleted, someone recommended a book to me to read, went to library to find it and find out the thread was deleted.
I just caught a glimpse of the book in that thread, near the 40th or so page, I think it had a crow on it, anyone remember the name of the book?
