safes
A safe (also called a strongbox or coffer) is a secure lockable box used for securing valuable objects against theft and/or damage from fire. A safe is usually a hollow cuboid or cylinder, with one face being removable or hinged to form a door. The body and door may be cast from metal (such as steel) or formed out of plastic through blow molding. Bank teller safes typically are secured to the counter, have a slit opening for dropping valuables into the safe without opening it, and a time-delay combination lock to foil robbers/and or thieves. One significant distinction between types of safes is whether the safe is secured to a wall or structure or if it can be moved around. A less secure version (only suitable for petty cash) is usually called a cash-box. Safes can be found in hotel rooms, offices and houses.

Used this for a few years but bought another system recently and no longer need this.
The plug for the antenna came loose from the wire. I secured it with some electrical tape. Worked fine but you might want to redo it or perhaps solder it back together properly.
On my older (thinner) safe, I...

With the thievery and bubblegumery increasing now, wanting to up my game here... Probably makes sense to buy a really tough expensive safe that is secured to a wall or is incredibly heavy but I dont have the 1000's of funds for this or interest in moving a heavy safe when I move.. Would like the...
One of the downsides of living in an apartment is that they probably don't want me bolting a nice safe into the floor, and with a smaller gun/cabinet safe I'm wondering if it's even worth it to purchase one if they can just pick up the entire safe and wheel/carry it to the car? A friend of mine...
Anyone familiar or have any first hand experience with these safes. I'm particularly looking at the American Eagle Series 760. 72x60x33 sized at 2575lbs. Pretty sure at that weight it is well built but thought I'd check with anyone familiar. The way steel prices are going I'm ready to buy now...
I purchased a Liberty Revere that’ll be delivered in 2 weeks. I’m getting cold feet. Mostly because it’s a large production to get this moved into my second story dwelling (delivery fee, climbing appliance dolly rental, etc) Also my HOA is giving me grief about securing this thing to the...
21" wide, 16" deep, 59" tall. Thirty-minute fire rated, but they've got to be testing in a pretty small fire. Quick access electronic locks with backup keys, I'm pretty firm at $300 each (I believe they were a bit over $400 each new, and a look around says prices have definitely gone up from...
I'm moving into my own place, and feel the need to go from trigger locks to a locking metal cabinet. I'm not really looking for quick access or extreme security, just want to make it harder for someone to walk off with my grand-dad's 1894 Winchester, etc.
In looking at them, I keep seeing these...
