A loading screen is a picture shown by a computer program, often a video game, while the program is loading or initializing.
In early video games, the loading screen was also a chance for graphic artists to be creative without the technical limitations often required for the in-game graphics. Drawing utilities were also limited during this period. Melbourne Draw, one of the few 8-bit screen utilities with a zoom function, was one program of choice for artists. While loading screens remain commonplace in video games, background loading is now used in many games, especially open world titles, to eliminate loading screens while traversing normally through the game, making them appear only when using warps or fast travel.
This is a project I have been thinking about doing for quite sometime. The current configuration is how I will run it and it's almost complete. Three tasks are left, including removal of gas tube, blocking off gas port and adding a bolt to better secure the firing pin driving rod to the pistol...
I have some Uzi stuff for sale. If the stuff does not move it will be headed to Gunbroker for top dollar auction. I am asking well below Gunbroker average. All prices are + shipping. Items are cross posted so time and date matters. I prefer Paypal friends and family with no words or a USPS money...
I would like to load up some BP substitute in some 350 Legend rounds to be used in single shot rifle. How would you decide which substitute powder and which primer to use? How would you develope a charge volume for a given weight bullet. Same questions if I decide to use real black powder.
What results do you chase when reloading for rifles either semi-auto or manual loaders and in what order of importance?
Whenever I mention my desire for a manual loading AR I usually get a bunch of "whys" and occasionally why would I want to manually feed the round vs using magazine.
One...
Can someone with a Nosler book pass .308 and 3006 load data onto me from there Nosler manual for there 30 cal. 168g boat tail match #28473?
I have the one book one caliber for both calibers but the Nosler section is scarce on info.
Really like how Hornady and others specify model number in...
I just thought this was good information to share:
Until you understand, it may be confusing to test your handloads on a chronograph and find the velocity is not what you expected based upon the reload data. There are a number of reasons for this. We will attempt to clarify this mystery with...
With the price of components being at historic highs right now, it seems to me you might be better off economy wise buying factory new 308/7.62x51 FMJ plinking ammo versus loading 308/7.62x51 FMJ plinking ammo with all new components. Does anybody disagree?
(31) rounds of 32 Win SL (Winchester Self Loading) ammo for sale. This is not the same as 32 Win Special. The head stamps on all the brass are rare "WRA Co." (Winchester Repeating Arms Co.) If you know anything about this caliber, you know this is very hard to find.
$70 will ship at buyers...
I am starting this thread in hopes of learning more about loading reduced loads from other reloaders.
With the economy of reloading costing more and the scarcity of components continuing to be a problem, more reloaders may benefit from playing around with reduced loads.
If you have favorite...
Just ran out of the 1968 powder and dumped in the 2021 powder. Will the VOCs change the charge that much for blasting ammo? Old stuff works fine. New stuff is very aromatic.
Silly I know but let me know.
Selling my romanian top loader.
Its in excellent condition
Oiled and cleaned. It functions.

They have brass too...
So for rifles we frequently will go to some pains to determine max COAL in our particular gun, and use that info to make adjustments in seating depth. But what about pistols? I recently started loading for 10mm Auto, and by recent, I mean 30 rounds so far. I was using a Hornady bullet, so...
So it looks like I'll be acquiring a 10mm soon, which means I'll be hand loading for it, of course. It's been a long time since I've owned or loaded for something at this power level, so are there any particular things I need to watch for, or any quirks to this particular cartridge? Primary...
I generally since joining NWFA use it as a means of buying and selling firearms but I thought I’d start a thread on something I’m contemplating. I own an AR15 in 300 blk that I assembled last and am currently in process of building an M5. Own a couple revolvers in .357 mag and several Glocks in...
I’ve been trying for the last two, maybe three days to post a reply on my thread but it is not loading no matter how many times I club the post reply button. :eek:
