Moving from Montana 2014 loading U-haul truck at -27 below zero

My wife and I move to Prineville Oregon in Feb 2014 right after that big snowstorm hit this area! The house we rented have 16 inches of snow in the driveway and had to leave the u-haul in the street that night. I thought I getting away from all the snow from Montana instead it looked like we brought it with! I joined this forum to see how things work here in Oregon.

Thanks Pops! I lived in Montana for 32 year! My wife has family in Medford,Klamath Falls and Salem! We moved here so she could be closer to her people but, not to close!

We're a bit outside Kalispell. Left La Grande, OR. Oregon's a beautiful state, geographically speaking, but the politics pushed us over the edge.

We were 25 miles North of Livingston, up highway 89 just a few miles out of Clyde Park, MT!

First wind "farm" in Montana was just south of Livingston and the Freeway (towards Big Stick) in the seventies! The wind was a bit much for the turbines! Some of the old towers are still there.
