lever gun
Lever action is a type of firearm action which uses a lever located around the trigger guard area (often including the trigger guard itself) to load fresh cartridges into the chamber of the barrel when the lever is worked. This contrasts to bolt-action, pump-action, semi-automatic, or selective-fire weapons. Most lever-action firearms are rifles, but some lever-action shotguns and a few pistols have also been made. The Winchester Model 1873 rifle is one of the most famous lever-action firearms, but many manufacturers—notably Henry and Marlin—also produce lever-action rifles. Even Colt's Mfg. Co. produced the 6403 lever-action Colt-Burgess rifles from 1883 until 1885. Mossberg produces the 464 in centerfire .30-30 and rimfire .22. While the term lever action generally implies a repeating firearm, it is also sometimes—and incorrectly—applied to a variety of single shot or falling block actions that use a lever for cycling, such as the Martini–Henry or the Ruger No. 1.
Have been on the hunt for a threaded .357/.38 lever action rifle.
Would like to keep it under $800 but the cheaper the better. Meet around Portland for transfer.

Will consider most configurations or manufacturers (no Century R1A1), but prefer forged receivers, metric, chrome lined 18" or longer barrels, fixed stock, carry handles, and bipods. Including a pile of mags would be nice too. Not looking for...
Didn’t know they made these. I would buy one if they weren’t $1000.

Git yer cowboy space gat on with this Marlin 30AS. Very good condition as modified, no functional problems or rust. Unknown round count but bore is shiny with solid rifling. Parts-compatible with Marlin 1895 except for the handguard. The brown color is Rust-Oleum Brown Earth with a matte...
Anybody know of a brand that has something like this? I see that Henry has the Frontier, but I was thinking maybe something shorter than a 24" barrel.. Something I might throw a can on and pop some muskrats with.

I have this great shooter that I'm wanting to sell for another project. This rifle comes with a threaded barrel and a tube and side gate feed as well. I’ve shot a full box of 44mag through it and loaded it through the tube feed only, I know I’m weird. She’s clean and ready to go. I have all the...
