Used winchester 1894 30-30

Im currently working on a different project and need some extra cash, I have a 1894 winchester made in 1975, gun shoots great and lever is smooth. Comes with a uncle Mike's hammer extention and a front and back sling loop. Also included is roughly 120rds of norma 30-30 sp ammo

Is that pitting on the receiver? Has the stock been refinished?

When I run my hand over the receiver it feels smooth, my guess is discoloration or very light rust marks. Im not sure if the stock was sanded or not but looking at the finish I believe it wasn't

In 1972, addressing complaints and concerns, Winchester re-vamped nearly their entire line and added the 9422, still renowned for its quality of design and manufacture. Their marketing slogan became, "1972. Winchester the way you want it."

The good ol' '94 itself got seriously improved, the action was tighter, the lever mechanism was re-designed, and exterior finishes (wood and blue) got noticeably better. This renewed concern for quality persisted for a good number of years afterward.

This is one of those guns. Best of the post-64's.
