I remove the slide, and the guide rod has slipped down off
it's proper place on the barrel lug...
My mom is finding it difficult to rack the slide on a G42. I was suggested to replace the guide rod with a Tungsten guide rod, but she also wants a guide rod laser. Does anyone out there have a G42 with the LaserMax guide rod laser? I'm wondering how the spring compares to the stock one. Does it...

Looks like this topic has been in the dust bin for a few years. Let's revive it, OK? I am soon replacing the plastic [short] guide rod with a stainless steel one and a new 14lb factory spring in my CZ 75B. I am doing this because the CZ is an all metal gun and a plastic guide rod just seems like...
Lasermax Guide Rod Lasers.
I like the concept. I can't justify the price.
Are they more novelty?
Do they hinder functionality?
Have you bought one?
How long have you had it?
What's their effective (visible) range?
How long do the batteries last?
Any problems or flaws found?
Would you buy...
