The Colt Single Action Army (also known as the SAA, Model P, Peacemaker, or M1873) is a single-action revolver handgun. It was designed in 1872 for the U.S. government service revolver trials of 1872 by Colt's Patent Firearms Manufacturing Company (today known as Colt's Manufacturing Company) and was adopted as the standard-issued pistol of the US Army in 1873 until 1892.
The Colt SAA has been offered in over 30 different calibers and various barrel lengths. Its overall appearance has remained consistent since 1873. Colt has cancelled its production twice, but brought it back due to popular demand. The revolver was dubbed as "Colt Peacemaker" and is a famous piece of Americana, as it was popular with ranchers, lawmen, and outlaws alike since its creation and due to its association with the American Wild West era. Today, they are mainly bought as memorabilia by collectors and re-enactors. Its design has influenced the production of numerous other models from other companies.
The original length of the barrel, issued to the U.S. Cavalry, was 7+1⁄2 inches (19 cm), with an overall length of 13 inches (33 cm).

Hi folks,
I'm looking for a 357 mag cylinder that will work in an Colt SAA clone. A GWA-made one would be awesome but not a necessity.
Thanks in advance.
This Colt is in original condition, has beautifully working action and is US Military marked. Serial number places it's manufacture date at 1880. This pistol is in original condition. All of the serial numbers match with the exception of the cylinder. This is not uncommon as the cylinder could...

Just thought I'd share with you the law on the ownership of, let's say, an original Colt .45 SAA in England, Scotland and Wales after the Dunblane Grade School Massacre of 1996 took all cartridge-loading handguns off the legal shooters in those three parts of the UK. For reasons that I'm not...
Hello, I am in the market for a U.S.F.A single action in .45, .44sp, 44-40, or? exterior condition not important depending on price, but I am looking for a later production all-U.S. made parts version. I am NOT looking to pay a premium for new in box collector pieces, just looking for a shooter...
For sale or trade is this fine Colt SAA 7 1/2" in 45 Colt. Serial number S67xxxA. The photos pretty much tell the story. Made in the very early 2000's I believe but not sure. I am asking $1,500 OBO and am willing to trade for bread and butter revolvers preferably. I am looking for a Vaquero...

Hey all,
Was considering getting into cowboy action, but found out my work schedule will not work with the local matches. So I need to get out before I buy too many guns for it.

I am selling these for a friend and I am personally not a "colt guy" so will do my best with questions via PM, e-mail or phone.
These were special ordered direct from Bob Munden with his "option 2, full race action" job and his custom fitted and finished red quilted maple grips.
Munden Premier...
