Turkey conducted two massive drug raids along its Syrian border this week.

The raids, AFP <broken link removed> , netted nearly two metric tons of an amphetamine called Captagon, totaling nearly 11 million pills.

As an amphetamine, the drug functions as a stimulant that greatly increases energy and allows users to stay awake for long periods of time. It's become popular in Syria and the broader Middle East because of its uses on the battlefield.

Hand a 14th centaury death cult the tools of the 21st century western man and this is what you get. BTW 11 million pills is enough for the ME, Europe and America for a month or more. And remember in Collectivist Islam, just like under the NAZIs, the Imperial Japanese and the Collectivist Communists, all those evil minions deaths are acceptable; ne' encouraged just as long as they have already bred a few replacements.

^ Sounds like we're gonna have to issue the M1911A1 AGAIN. The Syrians are gonna be just like the Moros in the Philippines during the Moro Rebellion- jacked up on dope and charging with swords.

Aren't the russians issuing a full sized 9mm service pistol at this point? Their spec ops teams are using the Arsenal pistol. Would imagine that normal combat troops are also using the 9x19 - if for nothing else - because if they were fighting NATO troops, they could replenish ammo by taking it off corpses, or if they overrun caches. But who knows.
