Work through it................................. 5.56 equals AR.

So .50 BMG round........ ? :D

Ahh, I was thinking on if I I kept my rifle under my pillow, I'd wake up to the fairy having replaced it with something more betterer. :)

Sleeping with just the round under my pillow sounds more comfy, I'll try that instead, & report back when the magic happens. :) :)

I like how Adams Arms and Ruger are selling piston URGs- makes owning a piston-actuated rifle more affordable. AR no. 3 will definitely have a Ruger AR-556 upper on it. I don't really care if my lower doesn't say Ruger- it can say Anderson, or have a Spider or Spartan helmet on it-lol.

I like the concept of their AR556 Takedown, just wish it came in a DI model rather than piston. Then again, I'm sure I saw a barrel-nut conversion kit somewhere that let you remove and replace the whole front half as a unit, allegedly without need to re-zero...

BTW, any of you guys ever buy parts from DSArms direct or Sunny State Outdoors? Between 'em, if both pass muster, I'm looking at a combined quote of $150 for castle-nut and wrench, M4-type milspec telestock, charging-handle and NiB BCG, leaving just lower-assembly tools, upper assembly and sighting systems to budget and buy.
