Yeah, I saw some folks suggesting this strike was a way to get attention off the book. But that seems like a stretch considering England, France and Israel were all in on the attack with us. No reason for any of them to commit just to get attention off of Trump. Just a convenient talking point for the Trump haters to try and rally around.

Yet, none of the missiles fired by the US, UK, and France reached the areas of responsibility of the Russian missile defense systems deployed to Syria, Moscow said. The Pentagon later confirmed that it has no information on any launches by the Russian side.

Fact, the U.S. military has been actively engaged in electronic "Disruptions" sence the early 60s, and they have also developed the tools and techiques to enter and defete the best air defences of any nation on the planet! This raid was fully covered electronically to block any interference from the target areas! So, there will be very little if any chance to defeat any American hardware from launch to target! Remember, the United States developed Wild Weasel and the navy deveoped Iron hand to allow U.S. and allied assets full coverage defensive suppression and at the same time, offensive suppression of any enemies ability to track and target any hardware employed! Basically, they didn't shoot down ch!t, and are spreadding propaganda, wanting to convince their own people that they at least got some payback, when the truth is they didn't do squat but hunker down and die where they cowered!
